Complete any of the following courses to be entered in a draw to win up to $100 in Gift Cards at Rebound Cycle.
All three courses start and stop at Rebound Cycle. The rules are simple, complete any of the three courses and record yourself doing it via GPS. After your ride, show any employee your GPS route and we’ll to put your name in a draw for a chance to win gift cards and rental vouchers! This year your time will be added to a leaderboard, with prizes been awarded irrespective where you stand. This keeps the focus on participation and having fun while providing those more competitive types with an outlet to gain bragging rights. The leaderboard for each course will be updated on Tuesday of each week, which you will find at the bottom of this page. Also, you can challenge the routes as many times as you would like within the time window, with you best time being the one reflected on the leaderboard.
Completing the Bronze course gives you a chance to win a $25 gift card, Silver gives you a chance to win a $50 gift card, and Gold gives you a chance to win a $100 gift card. Tag us in a photo on Instagram while you’re doing the challenge to get another entry! Also, this year there is a suggested DONATION of $5 to CAMBA (Canmore and Area Mountain Bike Association), which will help them continue their awesome job of grooming the winter trails. In case you’ve missed it HERE is a link for fat bike trail conditions, which is updated by them on a regular basis.
- All Alberta Health Covid-19 Guidelines must be followed while participating in the Fatbikes Fanatics Challenge.
- Fat biking is not permitted on groomed cross-country ski trails except where crossings are necessary. Fat biking is permitted on a signed section of Centennial cross-country ski trail ONLY to provide access to the EKG East trailhead. Stay to the left on this ski trail. DO NOT ride in the machine-made tracks. Fat bikers must yield to skiers at all ski trail crossings. Cross ski tracks at a perpendicular angle.
- Only “fat bikes” (with tires measuring 3.7 inches wide or wider) are permitted. Bikes with regular mountain bike tires are not permitted, as narrow tires are more likely to leave deep ruts in groomed trails.
